Spin the World Stories: country connections

As a little girl, when I encountered injustices I would close my eyes and imagine that I could become a giant goddess. I was able to stop the world spinning and put all the people to sleep with the touch of one finger. I would gently make changes--placing tools or food on their tables, flowers on the windowsill, and notes in their hands that suggested other ways to view the situation they were in. Then I would start the world spinning again and people would wake up and say "Hmm, something's a little different. But I feel better now."

What if the truth is, we can all make the world better before we send it spinning once again?
